Drafting chairs are designed to help users of drafting tables or other elevated surfaces above normal office desk height. Available in many different designs, most task chairs at Rose Office Furniture can be converted into Drafting Chairs, with a little added help from a Drafting Kit modification which includes:
Elongated Gas Cylinder: making the seat higher than normal.
Elevated Foot Ring: As the seat is so high, generally users' feet can't touch the ground while seated. the elevated foot ring is used to rest users' feet instead of just dangling down in front of them.
While they serve their purpose, a drafting chair is not for everyone. People seated at normal-height desks are usually not advised to get drafting chairs.
